Federal Audio is very excited to be representing Lindell Audio in Australia and New Zealand. The brainchild of Tobias Lindell (Bohaus Sound Studio, Sweden), this is a company with some killer products due over the next few months. Federal Audio will have these products retailing in Australia as close to US pricing as possible* so there's no need to purchase OS. Go and say hi to local dealer and you'll pay no more to get some local service (and maybe a coffee if you push it).
At the forefront are three new 500 series modules:
6X-500 A transformer coupled Mic Pre with a passive 2 band Putec EQ.
7X-500 A transformer coupled FET compressor/limiter.
PEX-500 A transformer coupled, passive Pultec EQ.

17XS - Lindell Audio's take on the classic 1176. Single channel, transformer coupled FET compressor with the addition of some new and exclusive features such as ”High Pass Sidechain Filter”, ”Mix Knob” mix between dry and wet signal (parallel compression), ”Signal High Pass and Low Pass Filters” smooth 6db/oct filters that colors the sound nicely.
18XS - Single channel, transformer coupled Microphone Preamplifier, DI, Line Amplifier and Passive Pultec Equalizer. It’s an all discrete design based upon the great 990 amplifier. The equalizer is Lindell's take on the magical classic Pultec design. It’s got 15db boost of the creamiest high end you’ve ever heard and the most punchy low end heard the 21th Century. It also incorporates their famous ”Mix Knob” from the 17X compressor. This means that you can parallel equalize your line input. This gives you more flexibility and a way of creating new tones….

Lindell Audio is expected to be available in Australian stores for November 2012 beginning with the 500 series modules. The rackmount units will roll out over the following months.
